CAHUIL

Calm small village of fishermen, located to 15 kms. to the one of the south of Pichilemu, in the opening of the Nilahue Matting.

Its name in indigenous word means "Gaviota Común ".

The main characteristic of this place is the artisan production of
coast salt, the one that data of Hispanic times, as also it emphasizes the production of ostras and choros shoe.

PICHILEMU

Main of the Higgins Or coastal bath Region and Capital of the
Province Expensive Cardinal, distant to 123 kms. to southwest of San Fernando and 182 kms. to the southwest of Rancagua by paved way.

Pichilemu offers to the visitor multiple alternatives of recreational activities and rest, in a rural atmosphere that conserves an aristocratic past, the one that goes back to second half of century XIX, when Don Agustín Ross Edwards conceives the creation of a bath of
European type.

- Playa Principal or Terrazas: In front of the Ross Park; it counts with equipment of dressing rooms, showers, baths, parking for vehicles. This is apt for the bath, in addition it presents/displays excellent conditions for the practice
of surf. In its environs they emphasize ample perrons with balustrades, that they date from beginnings of the bath and that they descend from
the Ross Park, like also, the viewpoint or terrace located on rocks in the South end of the
beach.

- Infiernillo: Beach located to the South end of the city, their main characteristic represents the formation rocky in where the
surge breaks, constituting itself in the attraction of the place.

- Playa Hermosa: Extensive beach located in the way that leads to End of Wolves. This is apt for the swimming and the fishing of border.

- Punta de Lobos: Located beach to 6 kms. to the south of Pichilemu, by dirt road. Its main characteristic constitutes the cliff of approximately 100 mts. of height and its roqueríos singulars that are frequented by marine wolves. The extension of their beach and its location makes it apt for the
bath, the border fishing, in addition to being an ideal place for the practice of surf.

BUCALEMU

Located bath to 37 kms. to the south of Pichilemu. The access is made by Cahuil, using a raft of property of the Direction of Road that carries out a transfer of 500 mts. by the Nilahue Matting.

The beach has form of "Or" with a useful extension of 1 km, it does not present/display declivity and it is of little surge, which makes apt for the bath; allowing to introduce itself without problems up to 80 mts. of its border, its sand is fine and of gray color. To the South flank, a zone of picnic is located, of particular property.

In the same sector the creek of fishermen is located, where it is possible to taste fish and seafood, besides to practice the fishing.

MATANZAS

Located coastal bath in the commune of Christmas, to 5 kms. to the South opening Rapel lake. Their extensive gray sand beaches are apt for swimmers and fans of fishing.

In the environs of the commune, it is possible to know other places like Fertile valleys Pupuya, beach bath ample and that at the present time does not count on
tourist equipment; The Breezes, small beach in horseshoe form, of little surge and little depth, it offers alternatives to the fans to the sport fishing and the Mouth
of Rapel, located to the South flank of the mouth of the Rapel River, 6 kms. to the north of Navidad.
